About Us
Alexandra Jefferds

I've been building model wheelchairs since I was about five years old (don't worry, my craft skills have improved vastly since then). I am a rehabilitation science graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh, and hope to work in a clinic evaluating and fitting clients for (real) wheelchairs. I combine a love of miniatures with my career interests to design and build the small wheelchairs you see on this site. My models are true-to-life because I know wheelchairs well. |

Nick has experience doing just about everything under the sun: machining, welding, house rennovation, vehicle repair, electrical work, jewelry making, and... the list is endless. He has a bachelor's degree in industrial arts education and loves to teach me better ways of making things. He knows what tool to use for what job. His work for Little Assistance has been to make the model building process more efficient. |
